Television in America: erection problems and damages - The Daily Standard (Blog)

Is watching television in America is a very different experience than in the Netherlands? Yes, because in America all men have an erection problem and are paid millions in damages after medical errors. If we are to believe then.

the commercials

During my tour of the deep south of the United States I have looked at almost every hotel and motel room television. Usually I was the evening exhausted from the trip in bed and I looked for an hour or two televisions. Basketball and baseball at ESPN, The Bill O’Reilly Factor and The Sean Hannity Show on Fox News and a lot of Jerry Springer-like shows on NBC.

have stayed with me two things: 1. American TV programs are invariably spectacular and professional than Dutch TV programs and 2. if you could only see the commercials you would think that all American men have erection problems, that almost every American is sick and potentially require dangerous medications, and that millions of dollars are paid to compensation beyond medical errors and car accidents daily.

I am not exaggerating when I say that the commercials are ubiquitous on American television. Some programs after a few minutes all paused for a commercial break. If no advertisement for substantial damages after a car accident or mishandling of a doctor or hospital, this will be on medication which almost always a note from the doctor is needed. They tend to be very specific cases (“Do you suffer from here and there and you sometimes this or that and go beyond that and do that, please use our medication!”), But it is almost all be traced back to one of the biggest problems faced by America: the o-word. Indeed, obesity.

Although I already knew that many Americans are overweight (in 2030, has 39 of the 50 states more than half of adults obese), I can see that. a few weeks with my own eyes Why are Americans so fat so fast, is partly because they eat large portions daily. Food that’s also too fat, too salty and too sweet. Consider biscuits with gravy for breakfast, a greasy burger and fries for lunch and salty fried chicken or steak at dinner. All without fruit or vegetables, but with free refills coke or sweet tea in restaurants and fast food chains.

Without the term obesity is even once, giving young healthy men in advertisements that they have erection problems and lean women tell which pills they swallow against the effects of obesity (again without that word is used). If you see the signs, you can only draw one conclusion: they actually keep themselves a little fooling

.

United States are suffering from an obesity epidemic and the commercials on American television that reflect. No, Netherlands, where only 12 minutes advertised, usually for the latest shampoo, makeup and offers at the Albert Heijn per hour. We’re fortunate.
