German television watching Dutch water management

Wednesday, June 12 at 22:45 2 Germany sends an interview with Jan Happiness, board member of the Union of Water boards of portfolio and include security and crisis management.
Following the floods in Germany wanted the television ZDFzoom like to hear how the Dutch water boards in our country the water is regulated.
Taking on water
Board Jan Happiness explained in the program that Dutch realize that water is an important and determining factor in their country. Good water management and expertise in the field of water are indispensable in a country that is largely below sea level. Therefore, the Netherlands
water boards, government organizations that concern themselves only with water.
Water Boards are responsible for the management of flood defenses, the regional water management and wastewater treatment and have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of water management. The Dutch water boards put this knowledge now in the flood-affected areas
in Germany.
