Tears on television we have seen before. For example, at Marco Borsato after his bankruptcy, Sylvie Meis on German television after her divorce from Rafael van der Vaart and Máxima at her wedding Willem-Alexander. All tears through personal suffering or personal happiness.

What still good assists Lips are the tears of President Barack Obama during the memorial service for the victims of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in New Jersey in 2012. That were tears came.

Yesterday Yahoo! News showed images of a UN employee interview on news channel Al Jazeera. The Briton Chris Gunness, former correspondent for the BBC, the spokesman for UNRWA, the UN organization that manages a number of schools in the Gaza Strip.

During the interview, just after fifteen people were killed in the shelling of a UN school by Israel, Gunness out his anger. He is very emotional and uses words like ‘terrible’. “The situation in Gaza is at a breaking point,” said Gunness. At the end of the interview, it becomes too much for him and he bursts into tears. We’re not talking about wegpinken a tear or a sob, no: cry about really.

RTL News continues the item with showing more gory images from Gaza. In house Lips, it had become silent. Very quiet.
