The Japanese electronics manufacturer Sony brings this summer a relatively low priced 4K Ultra HD television on the market. The price for the entry model is around four thousand euro.
This is much lower than other manufacturers – although for televisions with larger screens – prices from ten to thirty thousand euros have announced. The Sony entry-level model has a 4K Ultra HD display of 55 inches and is in America this summer for $ 4999 – converted 3900 euro – on the market. The 66 inch version of this Sony TV is $ 6999 – 5400 euros converted – cost.
Sharper Image
The 4K Ultra HD TVs have a screen of at least 3840 x 2160 pixels. This is a four times sharper than the current HD television on the screen. Because there is currently little material available in 4K is included, Sony simultaneously with its Ultra HD televisions 4K media player on the market. Allows use internet 4K content to the TV stream. The Sony 4K media player around five hundred euros.
Demo Channels
Besides streaming Ultra HD content over the internet, future owners of Ultra HD TV via satellite to some demo Ultra HD channels. At present, the Eutelsat and Hispasat satellite W9A this demo channels already received. The Luxembourg satellite operator SES is a short-term Ultra HD demo channel on one of its Astra satellites.

While many broadcasters and broadband providers in the year 2013 does not even get the whole package together 24/7 in native HD in the current standard resolution 1820×1080 pixels broadcast, with good corresponding bitstream, this is expected to not very long before we even think to 4K Ultra HD, provisionally no hair on our head .. They’re still in doubt how the program will do about. the inauguration of our ashes King and Queen.

@ Dick Yes, because since Sony 30 years ago (or more) bad product will be made that 30 years later still exactly the same. Meanwhile I buy even if not Samsung, Philips, Pioneer, JVC, Yamaha, Toshiba, etc. .. more. Because that is also 30 years ago ever broken.

I did 30 years ago had a sound instalation of sony From 3000 Gulden then only had problems 6x never repaired no new amplifier in return had. For me never irish Sony have now several years samsung at home would not else want.
