"Consumers want bigger TVs with sharper image" - Total TV

Most consumers want in the future with a larger screen televisions in the living room. They must also have a sharper image. That means increasing market analysts.

The chances are that result in the 4K Ultra HD version a few years and the natural successor of the current HD TV is going to be. The smallest Ultra HD television that is available this year, has a screen diagonal of 55 inches. In the current HD TVs is 55 inches precisely one of the larger versions. With an image resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels Ultra HD has a four times better – and therefore sharper – image as the current HD television.

The purchase of an Ultra HD TV this year is only for the rich early adapter to play. Prices of the larger models vary between ten and forty thousand euros. The consumer can only Ultra HD train boarding as manufacturers the price of the Ultra HD televisions sharply lower. The first step in this Sony has given. This summer, the Japanese manufacturer with an entry-level model with a screen of 55 inches that will cost around 4000 euros. Analysts expect the price of the Ultra HD televisions in the coming years will be lower and thus these TVs also are going to be affordable for consumers.

Manufacturers 4K Ultra HD in the window have put, is understandable. They want a new technology whereby a larger profit is the consumer disclosure. However, at the MIPTV trade show in Cannes is 4K Ultra HD to producers higher on the agenda than ever. Impressive at the MIPTV, the images of a football match first full HD quality and then in 4K Ultra HD were shown.

In the years before the first TV stations to broadcast in full HD Ultra expected. At present worldwide on several satellites all Ultra HD demo channel view. In Europe one can via satellites

this demo and Hispasat channels. SES Satellite Company follows the short term. The production of Ultra HD content is also increased. Thus the final of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil’s 4K Ultra HD orchestrated. And they work to a larger breakthrough Ultra HD at the consumer’s home during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil increased.

@ Apple_740. Thank you for your reactie.Blijf yet with very many questions: How does so, a screen with HD (+ SD) or SD? Can I opt for an HDTV? What more does he, and what technique is used .. OLED or still edgle LED or LCD. Furthermore, what is the offer? Well look through STB will have to be replaced if you want to watch UHD. How do we distribute movies? Only through VOD or premium channels? Or optical media again? Via HDD storage no problem optically wel.BD50 expensive ..

@ adsl user, within a few years there will be smaller UHD devices available. There are already smartphones with a 4.7 “HD screen available. A 40″ 4K TV must be a piece of cake. (Whether in relation to the size / viewing distance useful is another story. 1280×720 at smartphones is also sufficient to obtain maximum image sharpness, and yet one steps now to HD.)

These marks

called analysts are often paid by the manufacturers. And so they come up with a story that manufacturers like to spread: people want more, people want more. But is that really the case?

55 Inch is for my living situation is much too large. So will not be UHD. And I think I am not alone. And what technique will then be for the UHD bet? Still Edge LED or LCD? That you also like for you to have HD. Bandwidth shortage, not enough money for rent transponder space I see them all with UHD. What does the film industry? And to what extent is a SKY or by address? Wait and see. Anyway 55 inch is out of all proportion. 94cm or slightly more max

consumers want, well what the consumer wants or he will not moeizaam.probeer but to really really clean water or natural food verkrijgen.lukt you. by which highly trained bunglers.

Regarding the Dutch TV producer I have indeed a hard head, produce 4K on refelmatige basis I see the next 10 years not happen. But fortunately we have Sky and that kind of “rich” providers even where within a few years driven much 4K content will look. The saucer where it will be received remains important and is just hanging here. :)

NOS news is still in SD. All the big shows in RTL still in SD, despite millions of viewers and advertising revenue so large, it may still not starting. Paul de Leeuw and Tros Radar and Vara Checkout, all in antique SD. So why the hell should we associate professor as the broadcasters in the Netherlands refuse point-blank to everything in HD broadcast. Add to that the most HD channels at UPC additional costs money and the fiasco in the Netherlands is complete.

Hahaha, I think to a message directly back to 2006 … In the year 2013, most of the content is just sd sd or upgraded, and yes, of course manufacturers want to continue selling products that applies to each product, whether it be a TV goes, car, or phone, or something feasible, is much on how a product meets the man knows how to bring 3D seemed that the opposite is the case gebleken.Eerst all content in 1080×1920 with DD 5.1 sound, then we’ll continue that lasts for years!

Pete – Zwolle – 10/04/2013 24:46 PM

Again a suggestive article by this reporter. Ask create what they call the consumer and edit .. HD is not even well established and just come of age “clogged TVs in cabinets” off.

Joop – Leusden – 10/04/2013 12:45

resolution only says how many pixels it exists. It says nothing about the quality. Example, Put the HD Ziggo and KPN HD picture together. Both HD, same resolution. Only the image quality at Ziggo is much nicer. This is because KPN signal is smaller for the copper network. Unfortunately, this also puts KPN on the fiber network and pay you an additional 5 euros more per month. So for me provisionally Ziggo.

Ger – Spijkenisse – 10/04/2013 12:43 PM

I think it’s fine, if the watch UHD but nothing extra cost. I have basic UPC and where do I get even a paltry 3 HD channels for more than 18 euros per month. So if cable companies so scant progress handle to the customer, it is never what. It’s been every dime turn today, so extra to pay, not to me never!

baass – h – 04/10/2013 12:15

say market analysts, they said that nouja of 3d and see what’s left of it.

Johan – Purmerend – 10/04/2013 24:08 PM

Producers are of course in Full HD. Only wish the stations do not pay the extra production. You should get this message in the future. Then the UHDTV TVs are the same price as the current HD TVs have. And then it’s likely that one chooses for bigger and better image. The current TVs are also no HD broadcast still always better in quality than the models of five years ago.

Vincent – Arnhem – 04/10/2013 11:55 PM

Who says we want? 3D we wanted yet all in the living room? Need I say more?

Wim – Leeuwarden – 04/10/2013 11:42 PM

If you have a separate TV room, I want to believe this. Get a little impressed by this story, which we all now suddenly a new Ultra HD TV to purchase. 1080HD is already beautiful enough for the living room. And while most TV broadcasts are still in SD, the TV producer far to Ultra HD. And the consumer, therefore, I have not.
