Tele2 captures bone ACM to retail television market analysis – Dutch IT channel

Tele2 has the Authority Consumer & amp; Market (ACM) requested a market analysis of the retail market for television. ACM shall reject it. Based on market analysis looks at ACM or regulation is needed.

According to Tele2, there are developments that give rise to regulate UPC / Ziggo. Tele2 wants ACM UPC / Ziggo obliged to allow other telecommunications providers to the cable network for the transmission of television.

In 2011, ACM has researched the television market. ACM has then concluded that regulation of the television market was not necessary, because the market has become increasingly competitive.
ACM now concludes that the developments match her expectations in 2011. ACM does not expect that this will be different in the short term to be. ACM also now sees no reason to regulate the television market
