The third season of hit series Adultery will start in September. That VARA BNN announced today. The first episode will be broadcast on September 3.
Actors Thekla Reuten and Yannick van de Velde for the third season added to the regular cast. It is Reuten the first time in sixteen years that she has a regular role in a Dutch series. Yannick van de Velde was previously including in In Orange and The Letter For The King. In addition, times all solid actors from previous seasons back, including Sylvia Hoeks, Fedja van Huêt Kees Prins, Ramsey Nasr and Rifka Lodeizen.
Adultery three plays, two years after the end of season 2. Couwenberg (Prince) is in jail for blackmailing a councilor. But he has not been convicted of anything he has done to his former lawyer Stonemason (Huet). This injustice eats at Stonemason, while trying to build a normal life with photographer Iris (Hoek). He seems to get his chance to right as the mysterious Anna answers, which also seems to have a grudge against his great enemy.
Meanwhile, the family Couwenberg is in turmoil because son Björn wants to marry a hooker who he thinks she’s really in love with him.
The series is back written by Frank Ketelaar. The previous two series attracted an average of about a million viewers per episode.
