Dutchman looked record number of hours of television in 2014 – NU.nl

That makes Rating Foundation Wednesday. It is the highest measured viewing time since the start of registration in 1987.

In 2013, the viewing time was three hours and fifteen minutes. According to the Rating Foundation’s viewing time record was last year due to two major sporting events:. The World Cup in the summer and the Winter Olympics in February

The market share of Public Broadcasting in the evenings increased from 35.1 to 36.4 percent. The share of RTL Netherlands fell from 29.5 to 28.7 per cent and SBS went down from 17.2 to 16.9 percent
