Mies Bouwman will tomorrow once back on television. She is to see in The World, Running By, that the 65th anniversary of television celebrates. Mies is the only guest so an hour long with Matthijs van Nieuwkerk at the table.
"In October 1951, there was for the first time a Dutch tv-broadcast. Since that time, the name Mies is inextricably linked with our national television history. With programs as One of the Eight, Mies and Scene and Open the Village is Mies Bouwman, the main pioneer of the nation’s television", says the broadcaster. Marc-Marie Huijbregts is table host.
