“Steve Jobs wanted to work on television in recent months” | Bright.nl – Bright.nl

Steve Jobs was planning to work at Apple after his departure as CEO a television, says one of his confidants now.

on the evening that Jobs announced that he would quit, he called with journalist Walt Mossberg. The Apple founder was planning to embark on reinventing television. “I think we found a way we can do it, and it’s going to be fantastic,” he said in that conversation.

The story of Mossberg is in line with what Jobs.’ Biographer Walter Isaacson in 2011 in his book on the charismatic Apple CEO wrote. Isaacson also said Jobs, who publicly downplayed Apple’s TV plans, he was convinced that he had “cracked” the problem of the television.
