Ecoland.tv launches online TV platform for sustainable inspiration
On November 30, 2015, the day the Climate Conference in Paris starts, the new online television channel Ecoland.tv launched. Under the slogan “All together now” makes this station, founded by among others weatherman Reinier van den Berg, sustainability information for a wide public.
Ecoland.tv is an online television platform that inspiring innovations and initiatives in the area of sustainability presents. Thus it becomes clear that ecology and economy can go hand in hand. The transmitter was created out of a passion for sustainability and the desire for information, beautiful and interesting documentaries to make programs accessible to a wide audience. Together we can contribute to a sustainable society, through smart, creative and useful innovations: “All together now!”
Several themes will be highlighted; plastic, for electric transport, and from coffee to water. It makes use of Ecoland.tv own productions, such as the talk show “Ecotafel ‘, and existing materials such as the” Walk Shows’ of Urgenda. In collaboration with MeteoGroup is broadcast daily the innovative Energy Weather, which among other things explains how much energy solar panels in the coming days will yield
Future
Ecoland.tv begins as an online pop-up television, and will eventually grow to a digital channel that spends 24 hours a day attention to various sustainability issues. The dream is to inform and inspire and help people on the basis of tips to reduce their own carbon footprint.
