Vodafone has launched a new app that cheap television can be watched. The app is called TV Anywhere, and is the successor to Vodafone TV. With this app, Vodafone customers can look with a mobile subscription for 4.95 euros per month live television.
Vodafone offers through its TV Anywhere app 13 channels, namely NPO 1, 2 , 3, RTL 4, 5, 7, 8, SBS 6 and 9, Veronica, Net 5 and Xite. From September 7 Vodafone adds the new channel RTL Z to it. Vodafone customers with a fixed link via Vodafone Home receive free access to TV Anywhere and also receive 28 channels.
TV Anywhere can as the name suggests are used everywhere. You do not necessarily have to be connected to the Vodafone connection to watch TV. Further, the application provides the ability to choose a stream quality, these range from 150, 300, 1500 to 2500kbit / s. Unfortunately, the app can not automatically scale up and down depending on the connection. The app incidentally, warns however if you look through your cellular connection television, since your data bundle is then very quickly fly through it.
You must be logged in to use in app with My Vodafone account.
KPN is also working on an online TV service called KPN Play. This coming this fall and is reportedly a lot more extensive. Prices of KPN’s television service are not yet available.
