UITGEEST – The police arrested Wednesday a 37-year old man from Port Fairy, who is suspected to have wanted to steal the church yard to a TV Geesterweg in his hometown.
Police received about eleven o’clock a report that a man over the fence of the church yard had climbed. Police attended and made sure that no one could leave the site unseen. The suspect was found on site.
Research learned that the man had taken a TV from a container and had put it ready to take. The man was taken to the police.
