KPN has their service MobielTV launched on 5 June and was thus in their own words the first provider of mobile television in Europe. MobielTV until the end of this year for free use in combination with a one-year or two-year Flexible subscription.
A separate subscription costs 9.95 euros. Before customers get ten channels including Netherlands 1 and 3 and RTL 4, Veronica, SBS 6, MTV and Discovery Channel. For 5 euros per month, customers also receive extra Eredivisie Live, in which the key matches of the league broadcast.
Currently only two handsets, the Samsung P960 and LG KB620, suitable for receiving mobile television. In mid-September comes the Nokia N96 at. KPN will this unit the first month exclusive offering with a subscription to MobielTV
