The U.S. network NBC has a new reality show in preparation with a ride to the space is ready for the winner. The television works closely with Richard Branson, who next year will offer commercial flights. With his company Virgin Galactic into space
The program will probably ‘Space Race’ to be called, but when seeing the first broadcast will be and what the intent of the show will be is not yet known. “This can be a very special experience for anyone who has ever dreamed about a flight through space,” said NBC executive Paul Telegdy.
Branson’s Virgin company in the Mojave Desert, in the southwest of the United States, working with test flights at 21 km altitude. The goal next year is actually to start with space flights. The company already has 80 million dollars in cash of 640 people who have shown interest for a ride into space. The TV show is great publicity for the company of Branson.
