Apple CATV expert Jean-Francois Mule hired. He goes to work in an engineering project and promises in his LinkedIn profile that it is “something big”. Mule worked for many years as senior VP Technology Development for CableLabs. This is an R & D company of several U.S. cable operators, which is in progress. Television innovations Mule did extensive experience in software development, which include internet data, IP voice applications and TV apps are concerned.
Mule also lives Nearby: Mule before he switched to Apple for CableLabs established an office in San Francisco. Is also currently working on a new R & D center in Sunnyvale (Silicon Valley). Mule had at CableLabs multiple roles and worked on several projects, such as Peer Connect, Wi-Fi roaming between multiple operators, femtocells and second screen video apps. Mule is employed by Apple since September and reports in its new mission statement that he “challenged, inspired and part of something big is”. His job title is Engineering Director. Mule’s experience could be used to make working with existing services from cable companies. Settopbox Also, Apple can bypass the cable companies by offering over the internet.
