Televizier.nl gathers around 560,000 monthly Dutch prime-time television Tweets and thus visualizes the program popularity. The so-called ‘Talk Numbers’, as an alternative to the official ratings. Televizier and Liones have the month of September the Dutch TV Tweets summarized in an infographic.

Most sports-related Tweets

a starring role in the top-10 Talk rating was for sports. Together were those accounted for 157,000 tweets, some 30% of the total number of TV tweets in September (561 058 tweets). The absolute number one was the football match Barcelona Ajax, with a total of 56,021 Tweets. The minute which was the most tweeted was the moment Netherlands came back against Estonia, a peak of 1,033 tweets per minute.


Popular programs

The five most talked about programs in September were Good Times, Bad Times , The Voice of Holland , Expedition Robinson , So You Think You Can Dance and Boer Looking Woman . Added also delivered these programs over 157,000 Tweets on.


Market share per channel

dominates the Dutch RTL 4 TV Tweet market with 25%, followed by NED third with 21%. The public broadcaster is in total 39% of TV Tweets.
