Amsterdam – From Monday 7 to Saturday, October 12, 2013 sends Discovery Channel in the Benelux the new series of Super Yachts. Superyachts takes the viewer into the world of the construction of the largest and most impressive yachts of all time. In the six-part series set several Dutch superyacht builders, designers, engineers and architects for the first time in this way their doors open.
the series shows that innovative engineering and traditional craftsmanship go hand-in-hand. Leading companies like Vitters Shipyard, Vripack, Hakvoort Shipyard, ICON Yachts Balk Shipyard and reveal the secrets behind their successes and give an impression of their latest blueprints. The Dutch yacht building industry has an excellent international reputation. Dutch superyacht yards are among the best in the world. They are known for their craftsmanship, innovation and exceptional expertise. English (custom) built is a global concept.
Superyachts is an initiative of HISWA Holland Yachting Group and is produced by SNP Media (part Endemol Netherlands Media Group). The series is broadcast on Monday, October 7 through Saturday, October 12, daily at 19.00 at Discovery Channel Benelux.
