Americans watch an average of almost five hours of television a day. That seems a lot, but Europeans sit just under an hour. Especially the Italians are there but just below. Dutch watch three hours and twenty minutes.
according to data from the International Communications Market report, compiled by the UK telecoms watchdog Ofcom.
Online watching is booming, both on TV (Netflix example) on phones and tablets. Live TV streaming on smartphones in the Netherlands in one year by 50 percent.
