Cameraman Dave Clark of the news station Channel 11 will get the title of Hero of the Week. When the man saw someone hanging lifeless behind his steering wheel, he did not hesitate. He put down his camera and rushed to the man to help him.
The man turned out to be a drug addict who had just taken a heroin overdose. When Clark was the man in the eye, he was purplish. Dave ran up to the man to apply CPR. On WXPI tells doubted to have no time. “I thought, ‘if I can keep him alive until the emergency services are there, but his pulse was getting weaker.”
Fortunately, the emergency services were just in time appear in the drama. The man could be successfully resuscitated, thanks to the help of Clark. According to a policeman on the spot, the man was able to survive because of the rapid reaction of the cameraman. Clark himself is also very pleased about that “. I hope the man can be good things in life do thanks to the second chance he has been given”
