After an open letter from Apple shareholder Carl Icahn rumors flared again around its own TV set from Apple. The television would be released in ultra-HD resolution and also get an iSight camera. That camera can be used for video calls over the television. The Wall Street Journal, however, reports that the plans for the Apple TV have been removed a year ago. Apple keeps the time being only at the set-top box Apple TV.

Apple started ten years ago with the investigation of its own TV. However, the company last year came to the conclusion that there is not enough to think of interesting features were the television and therefore looks (provisional) from it. According shareholder Carl Icahn Apple would a 55- and 65-inch television set to release in 2016. However, Apple did there never comment on whether let Tim Cook hinted that Apple is going to bring “new product categories” on the market. For now it is certainly no Apple TV.

Icahn speaks in his open letter, moreover, about the electric car from Apple, which will be released in the shareholder in 2020. Apple has released nothing about this.
