The television shooting took place. in the splendid Basilica of Sts Agatha and Barbara Oudenbosch. This beautiful church with excellent acoustics is a reduced copy of St. Peter’s Basilica, and built between 1867 and 1880 by the architects Cuypers and Swaay. The organ, which itself has a checkered history, built by Ludwig König.
This beautiful area with beautiful paintings and sculptures Ruach sang along with a male ensemble Christmas music, both from their own repertoire as well as some new tracks.
Ruach and more poinsettias
On these recordings for Christmas worked renowned choirs, including Forever Worship led by Marcel King and natural Ruach, conducted by Elisabeth van Duijn. Accompanying musicians included the brass ensemble Brass Band Schoonhoven and Martin Zonnenberg on organ. The vocal soloist was Luke Kramer and all the songs were naturally dominated by Christmas. All visitors could sing in this magnificent basilica and so with each experience an atmospheric musical evening.
