Jennifer Salke, a director of the American TV channel NBC, says that the decision to create a new version is due to the success of Heroes .
“Shows of such caliber are rare, and we felt it was time for a sequel.” Tim Kring, creator of Heroes , is also involved with the new series.
Although the story is separate from Heroes , which aired from 2006 to 2010 there is a chance of returning actors from the original version. “We do not rule that out,” continues Salke. Heroes Reborn should be on the tube in 2015.
