The first season of “The taste” – a talent for cooks similar to what “The Voice” for singers – was a success in the U.S.. There is already scheduled a second season.
Nigella Lawson was one of the judges in the program. They blind taste the dishes of the various candidates and then they make their own team that the record after the preliminaries against each other. The British version “The taste” is scheduled for 2014.
Nigella Lawson (53) is known for the cooking programs “Nigella Bites” and “Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen”. Last month, her marital problems headlines in the British tabloids. In early July they announced the divorce of her husband, 70-year-old art dealer Charles Saatchi, a few weeks after he had seized.
