SteamOS: operating system for your television - Personal Computer Magazine

Valve has finally announced its long-awaited operating system. The Linux-based system is called SteamOS and is designed for gaming PCs in the living room. The operating system will be for the Steam Box, game console that Valve is working on for some time.
