A diver from the Groningen fire Monday afternoon has saved the life of a coot. The animal was caught in a fishing line.
Around 16:30 saw passers-by that the animal had got into trouble in the pond at the Nachtegaalstraat in Oosterparkwijk. At the height of the image was the coot getting stuck his leg.
A diver animals freed from his predicament and then transferred to the Animal Rescue. Reportedly, the coot is the now well.
