 8K Super Hi- Vision TV system: In what is certainly an incredibly popular demonstration will be at IBC2014, the Japanese public broadcaster NHK will provide a further demonstration of its 8K Super Hi-Vision TV system, including the latest enhancements, such as a high frame rate resolution. 8K Super Hi-Vision is a dramatic leap forward in video and audio technologies, with 16 times the resolution of today’s HD and 22.2-channel audio. NHK has taken the lead in developing it and brought its first theater demonstration of the system at IBC in 2006 Since then, IBC had many milestones in 8k, including the first international connections from London and Turin to Amsterdam at IBC2008. |
