No children in misery on television – Joop.nl

Tears attract ratings. And children’s tears certainly course

Bewilderment. That I felt when watching the news SBS6 program “It’s your child.” The presenter tries herein problems between parents resolve in fighting separations supposedly in the interest of the children.

Aside from the fact that I’m absolutely not in the interest of the children find to involve them in the program, I find it additionally unsavory that the presenter is trying to draw tears with those kids. Even worse are the parents. What does distress me to see what these kids go through. The absence of one of the parents, where they can do except just accept anything. The enormous amount of misery that their parents pour over them, even years after their messy divorce. How children are involved in the fights. How they are kept away from their father or mother, to enforce alimony. How parents make each black, over their heads. How their parents use them as chess pieces to checkmate the other.

A child is always loyal to both parents. However, that not all parents deserve loyalty, it turns again. I am certainly not advocating stay together if the relationship does not work anymore, but I’m deputy, on behalf of the powerless children, so angry with those parents.

Where do they get the nerve come to drag the misery their children? What are you playing for mom or dad, if you have the other parent so through the mud? Money Problems, new relationships; it can all be no reason to put your child. against the other parent

Children identify with both parents. By making the other parent black parents actually say “I think half of you horrible. I hate half of you.” That may not be what they mean, but that’s what a child hears.

What is possibly even worse, is that this is so common, without the parents even a second look to ask if they would not even have to finish, instead of damaging their children. for the rest of their lives, their own problems off

At the end of the episode saw I grieved the daughter, of course, where the camera zoomed in on even more. With a thick light on it. Because tears, pulling ratings. And children’s tears certainly natural. Disgusting. This large, little people suffered so put in the spotlight is degrading

Whether it comes to this program or other programs where children are involved:., I call for a nationwide boycott of those programs. When nobody is looking, they are fast enough from the pipe.

Children often do not understand what they are against say yes. Or are too young to oversee. Long-term consequences In it, they should be protected. Due to their parents in the first place. For me, the children are acutely from all those programs met.
